Half Twigs, January 2012
This piece was produced after cutting twigs in half for the end of screen prints. The shapes and form of the half twigs have a great aesthetic; this was something I wanted to capture. Using the abilities of the ‘frame’ to my advantage I have framed the half twigs to make it easier for the viewer to enjoy the aesthetics of this piece. Not wanting to separate the piece completely from the space, the twigs are attached directly to the wall while still having the containment of the frame.
